Crisis in Ukraine

Crisis in Ukraine

Today, for my blog post, I have decided to talk about the crisis in Crimea. Recently,
eight European military observers were held as prisoners by pro-Russian in eastern Ukraine. they were marched out, but under armed forces to show that they are not being mistreated. Later that day, a prisoner was released because of medical reasons.

Also on Sunday, pro-Russian activists stormed the television broadcasting center to demand the that Russian channels are to be put back on air. These channels were blocked by the Kiev government because the serve as propaganda tools. The activists wore camouflage outfits and face masks, which is the regular uniform of pro-Russian forces that have seized government buildings in Ukraine.
