Terry Fox run
We held
the terry fox run again this year. It is from grades 1-12. The grades 1-6 were
unfortunate and walked in the rain. Grades 7-12 walked the furthest and just
missed the rain. The walk was for everyone that has or had cancer and to end
it. Everyone was expected to attend and to have an enjoyable time.
This
walk was named after Terry Fox, a person who ran across Canada. Terry fox ran
for cancer. While running he got his leg amputated. He was an inspiration to
many people. He raised lots of money for cancer research. He ran the marathon
of hope.
