First blog post
For my
first blog post I’m going to tell you about my favorite sport, basketball.
Basketball was invented by Dr. James Naismith. He was born in 1861, in Ontario.
The first basketball looked like an oversized football but round. Dr. Naismith
developed the game by watching the most popular games at the time Rugby,
hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and baseball.
My favorite team in the NBA is
“The Houston Rockets”. I like “The Houston Rockets” because of their players.
They have really good players like Jeremy Lin, James Harden, and Dwight Howard.
Dwight Howard switched from the “Los Angeles Lakers” because the Lakers aren’t
that great anymore. My favorite player is James Harden “Fear the beard”.
In my old school I joined the school basketball team and we got 3rd
place in the school division tournament. I also played small forward and point
guard for the Richmond kings basketball. We got 4th place in Winnipeg for our
age category.
