What We're Learning in Social Studies:

In grade 7A social studies, we have just finished doing some stuff with Culture and Identity, Community, and basic Geometry. We did presentations with our partners based on their culture and family. We also made a collage on poster board with pictures representing what communities you are a part of. We learned stuff in Geometry like the Lines of Longitude and Latitude, the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer, the Lines of Symmetry and the continents.

Now we're working on How to Have a Good Life, and good living. We had made a list of things you need to have a good life, and we just finished making two lists of the needs and wants in life. For example, a need would be food or water and a want would be popularity and luxuries.
