Hi, my name is Sandeep Mangat, and I am part of the Social Justice Committee (SJC). Some events that are happening in the SJC is mainly the Christmas in October. The original date for the Christmas in October was the 7^th-10^th. The date has been changed to October 24^th-27^th. On the 24th, there is red and green day. The activity for this day is tug of war.  On October 25^th, there is a Christmas Character day, and the activity for this day is Christmas carol singing competition. On October 26^th, there is a stripe day which will resemble candy canes, a Christmas type of candy. The activity for this day is a 3 pointer basketball competition.  On October 27^th, there is a crazy hat and tie day. The activity for this day is jello eating. This jello is red and green colored. 

 Also, the SJC is collecting for the poor. The Grades 1-8 will be responsible to be bringing food. These grades will take their food to homeroom 8A. Some of the grade 7’s will go to grades 1-3 to collect the food from them. All of this food will be taken to the food drive in the Parish. A letter about this will be sent to everyone very shortly. I think this is a very prodigious way to support the poor, and I am really looking forward to make this a success
