My first blog post

 

 

This is my first year at St. Maurice. For the past month, I had experienced many new things. My classmates made me feel comfortable here during my first week of school. I made a lot of new friends here at St. Maurice. Every teacher that I have met have been wonderful and very helpful, thoughtful and intelligent. The teachers here taught me many new thing that I never new about and once they explained it to me, I understood them verily quickly. I think this school will help me throughout life. This school will help me prepare for University and having a good life. The teachers and the students in the St Maurice community are really nice and polite.  This community feels like they are my family also.  During the past month I had learned a lot of new things and made lots of nice friends. I would consider them as true friends. They are nice and thoughtful. They’ll never leave out a player. I consider St. Maurice as an amazing school even though I’ve been here for only a month.

There are so many fun sports and other circular activities to join. I’m most interested in playing Soccer, Badminton and Volleyball. I had started playing volleyball last year with my grade 6 school team and I had lots of fun playing volleyball with them. This year I’m still learning some skills on Volleyball now because this is my second year in volleyball. I am looking forward into playing Badminton because I heard it was a fun and an exercising sport. I had been playing soccer since I was 4 years old.  Soccer is my absolute favourite sport because everyone gets to have fun without getting tackled on purpose (football) and it helps me to get some exercise . I also love how the game is played and how I got to play many different positions. I’m excited to learn how to play many different sports and learn new things. I’m enjoying this school so far.
